About

mandys-odds is an independent, one-person forecasting project about basketball total points: the combined score of both teams. Since 17 October 2026 it has evaluated each game it covers about an hour before tip-off, published an over/under prediction when the model has one, and graded every prediction from the final score, in public. Each record shows the actual publication time; some are later than the hour, and some games get no prediction (the reason is shown). The aim is to find out, over months, whether the predictions are any good.

The predictions are a public test. They are recorded to measure accuracy and are not betting advice. Crowd Wisdom shows what established prediction sites say about the same games and keeps a record for each site; those calls are theirs, shown for information.

Where the data comes from

• Prices from Nigerian bookmakers (SportyBet, Football.com, Bet9ja), read from their public pages.
• The reference market (Pinnacle) through licensed odds data services.
• Live and final scores from the bookmakers' public event feeds; NBA, WNBA and EuroLeague box scores from the leagues' statistics services.
• Prediction-site calls from their public pages, linked from each game.
